This amplifier can be used for power upgrades in specific zones with any audio system including Russound controllers and are perfect for adding local sources to a whole-home audio system.  The automatic switching allows for the whole-house audio system to be the default audio source and whenever a local input source (like a Bluetooth player or an audio streamer) is active, it will automatically switch to that local source.
